About The Position

As the Golf Landscaper/Greenskeeper at Trophy Lake Golf and Casting, you will perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance, including semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work. You will operate small hand-powered equipment and occasionally larger equipment such as tractors, fairway units, and various mowers. The role involves maintaining bunkers, ball washers, equipment fuel/fluid levels, and assisting in project work like constructing greens, tees, and fairways, preparing soil, and laying sod or seeding. Effective communication with guests and team members is essential, as is ensuring a safe work environment by following all safety rules and wearing appropriate safety equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean environment and upholding a reliable work ethic.

Requirements

Washington State Driver’s license, required.
Ability to follow company policy/procedures and guidelines.
Able to work weekends and holidays, mornings, and evenings as business demands.
Lift, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis.
Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Experience in turf maintenance or related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely and properly including string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowers.
Maintain bunkers, ball washers, and fuel/fluid levels of equipment.
Return all equipment to the designated location in the maintenance facility.
Promptly report any equipment issues.
Assist in project work including construction of greens, tees, and fairways, soil preparation, and laying sod or seeding.
Safely and properly operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
Maintain effective communication with guests and fellow team members, initiating contact with guests within 15 feet, offering a sincere welcome, and willingness to assist.
Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety rules and wearing appropriate safety equipment.
Complete required job duties in the most efficient, productive manner ensuring a well-groomed golf course.
Assist in maintaining a clean environment including picking up trash and eliminating clutter.
Uphold a reliable and responsible work ethic with the ability to follow directions.
Maintain focus on the job at hand with a sense of ownership in quality of job performance.
Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
Other tasks as assigned.
