About The Position

Monarch is hiring a full-time, year-round Landscaper to maintain multiple apartment communities in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role performs landscaping, lawn care, lawn maintenance, and grounds care under a supervisor’s guidance, with general labor on projects of varying sizes and complexity. The position may also assist with preparing and turning units between tenants. Seasonal snow-removal work includes clearing driveways and parking lots with a plow or snow blower and applying deicing materials. Employees must be able to help with on-call snow-removal duties, which may require working at any hour of the day while on call.

The position is onsite and scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with paid overtime if earned. Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional landscaping experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to help with on-call snow-removal duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor on projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Perform landscaping, lawn care, lawn maintenance, and grounds care functions.
• Maintain landscaping at multiple apartment communities under the guidance of a supervisor.
• May assist with make-ready work and turning units between tenant occupancy.
• During snow-removal season, clear driveways and parking lots using a plow and/or snow blower.
• During snow-removal season, apply deicing or salting materials to walkways and parking areas.
• Help with on-call snow-removal duties, including being available to work at any hour of the day while on call.
