Requirements

  • British Columbia Driver’s License (N or FULL Class 5) - Learners or International Driver Licenses are not accepted.
  • Ability to walk 20,000+ steps a day and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Excellent Reliability (good attendance, on time, consistent performance)
  • Team player
  • Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
  • Open and receptive to ongoing feedback
  • Smartphone with data plan
  • Willingness to drive company trucks as trained
  • Willingness to commute to sites within the Lower Mainland
  • Language of work: English

Nice To Haves

  • Have a car (asset)
  • No experience is required to start as an Entry-Level Landscaper, but outdoor or physical work experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Work with the diverse team to enhance local communities’ green spaces and improve the environment by supporting plant health and vegetation that aids in carbon capture.
  • Lawn mowing
  • Line & blade edging
  • Leaf blowing
  • Shearing
  • Pruning
  • Bed work
  • Weeding
  • Planting
  • Operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment (lawn mower, leaf blowers, shears)
  • Driving the company truck to the local dump and waste facilities
  • Opportunities to explore other landscape divisions, including Irrigation, Plant Health Care, and Landscape Services, as experience and confidence grow.
