About The Position

Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time Landscaper to join our team. Waverly Heights sits on a 63-acre campus which is a designated Level 1 Arboretum. Our residents and administration are proud of our landscapers who truly take pride in making Waverly such a beautiful place! If you are a landscaper looking to join an amazing landscaping team, don't hesitate to apply! Our full-time Landscapers are scheduled up to 40 hours per week and requires some flexibility in hours during emergent inclement weather events. Previous landscaping experience is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn. Responsibilities

• mowing, edging, weeding trimming shrubs, and maintaining flower beds to ensure the campus's overall appearance is neat and well kept
• watering and fertilizing plants, trees, and flowers to promote healthy growth and vibrant landscaping
• inspecting trees for signs of disease or damage and performing pruning necessary to ensure safety and health
• planting seasonal flowers and foliage to enhance the campus's visual appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere
• keeping outdoor areas free from litter and empty trash bins to maintain a clean and pleasant environment
• keeping pathways and walkways clear of obstacles and identify any areas in need of repair
• during autumn months, assist in leaf blowing, raking, and removal necessary to maintain a safe and clean environment
• during winter months, assist in snow and ice removal from walkways, driveways and common areas to ensure safety
• performing other duties to support the effective operations of the landscaping department
