About The Position

We’re searching for a Landscaper/Gardener who enjoys fresh air, getting their hands dirty (in the best way), and helping keep our grounds beautiful, safe, and welcoming. This position plays a key role in preserving the club’s high standards by ensuring lawns, gardens, trees, and exterior common spaces are attractive, well-maintained, and welcoming for members, guests, and staff.

Requirements

  • Schedule will include early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs and seasonal demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plants, turf care, and irrigation systems.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, fertilizing, and weed control.
  • Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas throughout club grounds.
  • Monitor and assist with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and coverage.
  • Remove debris, leaves, and litter to maintain clean and safe outdoor spaces.
  • Prepare and maintain outdoor areas to support daily operations and special events.
  • Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Identify and report maintenance needs, plant disease, pest issues, or safety concerns.
  • Assist with seasonal projects such as planting rotation, aeration, overseeding, and weather-related preparation.
  • Follow all RCCC safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with members, guests, and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support grounds and facilities operations.
