About The Position

Duran Golf Club, a subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons, Inc., is hiring a full-time Landscape & Turf Maintenance Operator to be part of a dedicated team responsible for the care of one of the area’s top golf courses. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant outdoor environment while developing specialized skills in turf management and landscaping. It’s a hands-on position that plays a key role in delivering the high-quality course conditions golfers expect from a premier facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50–75 lbs in various outdoor conditions
Strong communication skills with a positive and professional approach when interacting with colleagues, guests, and management
Understanding of workplace hazards and adherence to safety protocols
Strong ability to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in golf course maintenance is a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

Operate mowing equipment to maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, approaches, and other course grounds
Repair ball marks and fill divots to support quality playing surfaces
Change cup locations and reposition tee markers
Rake and groom sand bunkers to ensure consistent conditions
Maintain cart paths, curbs, parking areas, and clubhouse surroundings
Trim vegetation around irrigation components, yardage markers, and other course features
Assist with specialized turf care practices, including topdressing and verti-cutting
Remove debris and litter to keep the property clean, safe, and welcoming
Set up and relocate ropes, stakes, directional signs, and other course accessories
Support overall course presentation through landscape and grounds maintenance activities
