About The Position
EMH&T is seeking a Landscape Technician to join our Restoration team based in Columbus, OH. The Technician works under the direction of the Restoration Team Crew Chief, working outdoors to help restore natural areas, including streams, wetlands, and conservation sites. If you have experience in landscaping, lawn care, tree planting, grounds maintenance, irrigation, or other outdoor work, we'd love to hear from you. We provide on-the-job training and the opportunity to build new skills while working with an experienced crew.

- Be comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and be subject to quarterly random drug testing
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without time restrictions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in landscaping, lawn care, tree planting, grounds maintenance, irrigation, or other outdoor work
- No restoration experience required; training is provided
Responsibilities
- Plant trees, shrubs, grasses, and other native plants
- Assist with seeding and landscaping of restoration areas
- Control invasive plants using herbicide applications
- Install conservation and property signage
- Use hand tools and small power equipment safely and effectively
- Work with a crew to complete outdoor restoration projects
- Help keep equipment and tools clean and maintained
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required protective equipment (PPE)
