About The Position

A Landscape Mechanic is responsible for performing complex on-site diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on landscaping equipment. All employees are expected to carry out the company’s purpose and demonstrate our core values.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license is required, with acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 75 pounds consistently
• Ability to operate the equipment listed above, in addition to other commonly used landscaping equipment
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair and/or maintenance of equipment and vehicles

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED, preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on commercial lawnmowers and 2-cycle engines (string trimmers, edgers, back blowers).
• Maintains condition of service vehicles, trailers, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• May establish and implement effective stocking processes to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all required forms and paperwork for work assignments.
• Account for all time and materials being used during repairs and maintenance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
