About The Position

As a Truck Mechanic joining our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks, including small trucks and larger models like the Ford F-450. This role requires a strong understanding of diesel and gasoline engines, as well as the ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automotive technology preferred.
• Proven experience as a truck mechanic, with expertise in both small and large trucks.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification or degree in automotive technology
• CDL preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on both small and large trucks as well as all mowers and smaller engines.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle status and repair needs.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
