About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Landscape Laborer to help maintain the beauty, safety, and overall appearance of our Wesley Enhanced Living Communities. This role plays an important part in creating a peaceful, attractive outdoor environment for our residents, families, and staff. The ideal candidate is respectful, patient, and enjoys working in an environment that serves older adults.

Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic knowledge of horticulture or plant care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and common outdoor areas across the community
Mow, edge, trim, and fertilize turf areas
Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance campus aesthetics
Perform seasonal clean-up including leaf removal, mulching, and snow/ice removal
Ensure walkways, entrances, and outdoor spaces are safe, clean, and hazard-free for residents
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and responsibly
Assist with irrigation systems and basic grounds maintenance tasks
Interact courteously with residents and respond to questions or concerns professionally
