About The Position
The Landscape Irrigation Technician is responsible for effectively diagnosing irrigation systems for issues and making the appropriate repairs, testing backflows and installing new irrigation systems.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigations systems (minimum one year experience)
- Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation design
- Attention to detail with an eye for safety hazards
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Inspect, audit and adjust the systems to ensure they perform at maximum efficiency
- Program irrigation controllers both in the field and remotely
- Renovate, troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
- Stock service vehicle with proper parts and tools in an organized manner
- Perform spring turn-ons and winterizations
