About The Position

The Landscape Irrigation Technician I inspects, maintains, and repairs irrigation systems to support healthy, attractive landscapes. The role follows established work plans, applies appropriate watering practices, and ensures systems operate efficiently and in accordance with company standards. This is a full-time, on-site position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience inspecting and maintaining irrigation systems.
Experience operating commercial and residential irrigation control systems.
Ability to operate basic landscape equipment and irrigation tools.
Ability to use computers, tablets, and smartphones for reporting and system management.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must be insurable.
Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems.
Repair or replace irrigation components, including heads, nozzles, lines, and valves.
Adjust and manage watering schedules using irrigation control systems.
Manually activate and deactivate irrigation systems as required.
Identify landscape stress related to overwatering or underwatering.
Work collaboratively with landscape teams to maintain plant health and appearance.
Follow safety policies, attend required training, and use personal protective equipment properly.
