About The Position

As a Landscape Irrigation Tech, you’ll install, repair, and maintain sprinkler and drip irrigation systems to keep lawns, plants, and landscapes well-watered and looking great. You’ll ensure systems work properly, troubleshoot problems, and help improve efficient and responsible water use. The work supports landscape health and beauty while helping protect water resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with irrigation systems.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to install and repair irrigation systems.
• Ability to identify and fix problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and customers.
• Comfort using new tools and technology.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, water-saving best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in irrigation or landscaping.
• Experience with smart irrigation controllers and water-saving software.
• Knowledge of local water rules or conservation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair different types of irrigation systems, including sprinklers and drip systems.
• Inspect systems regularly for leaks or other problems.
• Set and adjust timers and smart controllers.
• Recommend upgrades to save water or improve system performance.
• Teach customers how to use and care for their irrigation systems.
• Follow safety rules and water-saving guidelines.
