About The Position

Great Oaks Landscape Associates, located in Novi, Michigan, is a recognized leader in the industry for its landscape design-build and maintenance expertise. We are looking for a Landscape Foreman to join our team! The foreman is a hands-on working position, supervising a team of up to 8 crew members. Responsible for making crew decisions with the guidance of the Project Managers.

Requirements

5 years prior landscaping experience is required.
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
Good work ethic and the ability to work well with the crew - a team player.
Minimum 2 yr experience in the landscape industry.
Capable of operating required equipment (Skid steers etc) & tools in a safe/responsible manner.
Time management skills.
Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools & equipment required to complete various landscaping tasks.

Responsibilities

Supervise landscape installation operations.
Review landscape design with landscape designer & project managers.
Train and mentor landscaping crew employees.
Supervise employees on the job site.
How to use landscape install equipment.
Installation of plants, shrubs, and trees.
Ensure work is completed per plans and specifications as well as with the client's expectations.
Promote high standards for customer service, develop a safety culture, and create a positive team environment.
Lead, train, and develop employees.
