About The Position

We are looking for a Landscape Designer with 2-5 years of experience in the landscape construction and design industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand that a strong landscape design is one that excites the client and can be built effectively by the crew. You will be responsible for guiding clients from their initial consultation to a clear design direction. This involves meeting with clients, taking site measurements, assessing grades, developing design concepts, assisting with quotes, and managing communication through questions and revisions. You will contribute to creating exceptional outdoor spaces throughout the Greater Hamilton area, upholding high standards that balance creativity and practicality in landscape design.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the landscape construction and design industry.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Understanding of plant material and plant IDs.
• Understanding of grading, drainage, elevations, and the realities of how outdoor spaces are built.
• Comfortable meeting with clients and making them feel heard and confident.
• Experience with CAD, 3D design software, and other landscape design programs.
• Clear communication skills and prompt follow-up.

• Field experience is a strong asset.
