About The Position
VHB’s Tampa, FL office is looking for a talented landscape architectural design intern to join our team for Summer 2027 to support our Planning & Design team. The intern program is designed to round out participants’ academic learning with real world experience and help them explore areas of practice to find the best fit for their career path.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA) from accredited program
- Knowledge of drawing and graphic tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp/ Revit
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with numerous VHB staff including those in civil and transportation engineering, planning and GIS
- Assist in development of master planning and design solutions
- Assist in visualization modeling and graphics
- Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities
- Prepare written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports
