About The Position

As a Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader, you will direct crew members and equipment, planning and executing assigned work or tasks to enhance the appearance and value of properties through daily grounds and turf maintenance. This role involves planting, trimming, mowing, weeding, mulching, diagnosing insect and disease conditions, maintaining client communication, and operating landscape equipment. Your office will be outdoors, offering a new view every day.

Requirements

Love of the outdoors
Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books upon hire
Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

Nice To Haves

Background in Horticulture or Landscaping
Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID knowledge

Responsibilities

Directs crew members and equipment.
Plans and executes assigned work or tasks.
Enhances the appearance and value of properties through direction of crew in execution of daily grounds and turf maintenance.
Properly plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, fertilize.
Diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions.
Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide feedback on landscape needs.
Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment.
