About The Position
We are seeking dedicated, dependable, and hardworking crew members who enjoy working outdoors and working with their hands to join our team! The ideal candidates will be responsible for various outdoor tasks that contribute to the maintenance and beautification of residential and business lawns. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Crew members will engage in activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, mulch installation, gutter cleaning, leaf removal, etc. We are a small company that is rapidly growing! What Makes This Job Different: We use a pay-for-performance system where you can earn up to 20% of the revenue you generate. Work efficiently, go home earlier, and make more per hour. Our top performers earn $25-35/hr. You are still guaranteed your base hourly rate at a minimum. Mostly Solo Crews - You own your routes & clients! The Work Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing residential lawns Seasonal services: leaf removal, mulch, yard cleanups, and snow removal Operating commercial stand-on mowers and other equipment (we train you) Monday–Friday schedule — no weekends Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while developing your skills in the landscaping industry!
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to our shop in Olathe, KS
- Valid driver’s license (you’ll be driving trucks with trailers)
- Able to do hard physical work outdoors in Kansas heat
- Show up on time, every day
- Coachability (accepts feedback without defensiveness, asks questions, improves quickly)

- Work Ethic (can handle 8+ hours of physical work; doesn’t fade in heat)

Responsibilities
- Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing residential lawns
- Seasonal services: leaf removal, mulch, yard cleanups, and snow removal
- Operating commercial stand-on mowers and other equipment
- Ensuring quality of work with zero callbacks or re-work
- Maintaining equipment care, ensuring trucks, trailers, and equipment are kept clean and working
- Ensuring Mapsly compliance with accurate, complete check-in/out data
- Polite and professional client interaction, handling basic questions/complaints calmly
