Kimley-Horn is looking for Landscape Architecture students to join our San Jose, California (CA) office in Summer 2027! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include utilizing technical software programs to analyze, produce, and quality control deliverables for clients. The intern will contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production for a variety of projects such as land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and residential development, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure design, parks, and community facility design. The role involves solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines to realize client visions. The intern will also develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client practices, procedures, and standards. Analysts will learn one or more software programs including Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.
