About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture graduates to join their Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FL) office. This role involves utilizing technical software to analyze, produce, and quality control client deliverables. The position contributes to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production for a variety of projects including land planning, urban design, mixed-use and residential developments, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure, parks, and community facilities. Analysts will solve complex problems, support project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions. The role also includes developing familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client-specific practices and standards. Analysts will gain proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters).

Nice To Haves

  • Analysts will learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
  • Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
