About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture graduates to join our Sarasota, Florida (FL) office. This role involves utilizing technical software programs for analysis, production, and quality control of client deliverables. Responsibilities include contributing to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic/technical production for a variety of projects such as land planning, urban design and redevelopment, mixed-use and residential developments, streetscapes, design guidelines, public infrastructure, parks, and community facilities. The position requires problem-solving, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines to realize client visions. Analysts will also develop familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client standards. Training will be provided in software programs including Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Landscape Architecture (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
  • Contribute to the site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Learn one or more software programs: Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Excel.
