About The Position

Perkins&Will Atlanta Studio is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our team and contribute to the design of innovative, sustainable, and impactful environments. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project development, helping transform creative ideas into thoughtfully designed spaces that enhance communities and the built environment.

Requirements

8+ years of experience
Professional Licensure required
Bachelor’s degree in landscape, architecture or related field required
Professional landscape licensure or 25 years of experience in the design profession.
Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you: LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, ILFI Living Future Accreditation or RELi AP.

Responsibilities

Understands and consistently executes all aspects of the design process and project complexities to proactively contribute to the overall success of the team while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design.
Develops and implements creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team.
Maintains awareness of evolving landscape technology and site engineering systems.
Understands and responds to technical implications and design decisions.
Reviews and executes drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Executes responsibilities on projects within the scope of schedule and budget.
Contributes to project marketing pursuits, proposal preparation, and interviews.
Administers applicable agency review analysis (accessibility, zoning, life-safety, etc.).
Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual.
Participates and collaborates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
Demonstrates strong and effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance and design ideas.
Mentors staff.
Coordinates effectively with partners, colleagues, and consultants throughout the schematic and design development phases.
