Landscape Architect – High-End Residential

TGG AccountingLos Angeles, CA
$70,000 - $100,000Onsite

About The Position

Well established, award-winning residential design studio in Los Angeles is looking to add a Landscape Architect to its growing landscape team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to work on highly customized, design-driven residential projects where architecture and landscape are developed together from the beginning. Rather than treating landscape as a separate phase of the project, the team takes a holistic approach to the home, site, outdoor spaces, and surrounding environment. The studio is intentionally small, highly collaborative, and non-hierarchical. Landscape Architects work closely with architects, designers, project leaders, and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle. The team is open to candidates ranging from early-career Landscape Architects through experienced professionals, with responsibilities and project ownership adjusted based on experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional landscape architecture experience
  • Experience working on residential projects
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture preferred
  • Strong understanding of design documentation and project production
  • Comfortable working in a BIM-based environment
  • Ability to collaborate digitally and manage project files effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Curious, collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely across architecture and landscape disciplines

Nice To Haves

  • High-end custom residential, luxury estate, or hospitality experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Revit or Archicad is helpful. Candidates coming from Revit or another BIM platform will be considered, and training is available.
  • Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) licensure is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop site plans, master landscape designs, and construction documentation for custom residential projects
  • Participate in projects from early design concepts through construction
  • Collaborate directly with architects and other designers to create cohesive indoor/outdoor environments
  • Work within a BIM-based digital design and documentation environment
  • Participate in design meetings and contribute ideas regardless of seniority
  • Coordinate project documentation, design development, and production
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Conduct site visits throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage multiple projects based on experience level
  • Senior-level candidates may serve as the primary client contact and lead projects with support from junior team members
