Kimley-Horn is seeking a Landscape Architect with 6+ years of experience to join the Boise, Idaho (ID) office. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on a wide range of project types, from mixed-use and multifamily developments to parks, urban streetscapes, and civic destinations. The Landscape Architect will take design ideas from concept through construction, contributing to every stage of the process. Responsibilities include leading and supporting the design, documentation, and delivery of public and private sector projects, developing creative and technically sound site planning and landscape design solutions with a strong understanding of grading, drainage, and constructability, and preparing and reviewing construction documents, details, and specifications with an emphasis on quality control and quality assurance. The role also involves participating in the construction administration phase, managing tasks, schedules, and budgets, coordinating across disciplines, mentoring junior designers, engaging directly with clients and city representatives, and contributing to proposals, scope writing, and project presentations. Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, SketchUp, and GIS is expected.
