About The Position

NV5's Philadelphia office is seeking a Landscape Architect and Project Manager with 5-8 years of experience to join their growing landscape architecture team. This position offers the opportunity for career growth, client interaction, and the ability to work with a progressive team of professionals that continually seek to improve public spaces with the most current best practices. The team's project portfolio includes the new Delaware River Trail, public parks, green stormwater projects, and the Camden County LINK trail. The role focuses mainly on the design of public and higher education spaces, including parks, campus design, trails, and green stormwater infrastructure. The ideal candidate should also have an interest and willingness to assist the team in pursuing projects, responding to Requests for Proposals, and business development activities. The office environment is described as diverse, talented, collaborative, and passionate about improving the quality of life for communities. The office is conveniently located in Center City Philadelphia and is recognized as a "Bike-Phriendly" business.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Project management experience through all project phases ranging from master planning and conceptual design through construction documentation and administration
  • Some experience with construction administration
  • Fluent in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite programs, and Rhino

  • Researching and responding to Requests for Proposals and other marketing/business development pursuits
  • Provide solid technical expertise and advice
  • Develop details
  • Lead design efforts
  • Perform redline reviews of design drawings at all stages of design
  • Mentor younger staff
  • Experience with technical specifications
  • Providing input on construction budget estimates
  • Assist with document production
