About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Landscape Architect Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office. This role involves project feature design development and illustrative presentation graphic support, preparing construction drawings for landscape and general site design (layout, grading, hardscape), and providing support during the construction phase including contractor coordination and site visits to ensure design intent is maintained. The intern will also support project team members in the design of projects of varying scales and types.

Requirements

  • Must have completed 60 hours towards a Landscape Architecture degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
  • Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Responsibilities

  • Project feature design development and Illustrative presentation graphic support
  • Prepare construction drawings for both landscape and general site design including layout, grading and hardscape
  • Provide support during the construction phase of landscape architecture projects, including coordination with contractors, site visits, and ensuring design intent is maintained.
  • Support project team members in the design of projects of varying scales and types.
