About The Position

The City of Rockingham is an award-winning local government located 40km south of the Perth CBD. They are responsible for providing high-quality services, facilities, and events. This position requires a motivated and experienced individual to operate plant and equipment on the Landfill, perform manual labouring tasks, and assist with Recycling/Transfer Station operations and site management at the Millar Road Landfill Facility.

Requirements

• Highly developed skills and experience in the operation of plant and heavy rigid trucks including, water truck, sand truck, wheel front end loaders.
• Developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers.
• Current and valid ‘HR’ class driver’s licence.
• Relevant plant operator ticket - wheel front end loader.
• Construction Induction Training (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment on the Landfill when required.
• Perform manual labouring tasks as needed across all areas of the Millar Road Landfill Facility.
• Principally related to Recycling/Transfer Station operations and site management.
