You’ll be out on the site, leading from the front, developing your team, and making sure the operation runs safely and efficiently. Requirements

5+ years of landfill operations experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of working face operations
Experience with heavy equipment (operation and maintenance)
Proven leader who develops people, not just manages tasks
Able to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-moving environment
Background in heavy construction may be considered if closely aligned

Responsibilities

Lead daily landfill operations, including waste placement, sequencing, and cover
Manage crews, schedules, and equipment utilization
Drive a strong safety culture and run regular safety meetings
Coach and develop operators and frontline employees
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
Stay hands-on — operate equipment when needed
