About The Position

Potrero Hills Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Landfill Laborer to join our team in Suisun City, CA! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company. The days of the week are subject to business needs and seniority, but the schedule may include Saturdays. Shift can start as early as 3:30am or as late as 9am. This is a union position with union pay scale and union benefits. The starting pay will be 27.00/hour. The pay range for this job is $27.00 - 31.76/hour. Requirements

At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.
The ability to continually lift up to 75lbs repeatedly throughout an 8 hr shift.
Proficient on computers.
Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift

Nice To Haves

Experience operating equipment is a plus.
Mechanical ability a plus.

Responsibilities

Spotting Trucks
Cleaning Equipment
Picking up litter
General site cleanup
Driving employees to their work stations
Helping out with scale house duties: cash handling, computer work, customer service.
Performing other assigned duties at the landfill
