About The Position

A Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a landfill or other company site, such as a hauling company, transfer station, or recycling center. Work may include cleaning work areas, fueling and cleaning equipment, yard work, operating general site vehicles and equipment, maintaining offices, installing temporary wind fences, and directing site traffic. Other job-related duties may be assigned. The listed responsibilities describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive; they may change at the Company’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities.
• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
