About The Position

The Landfill Equipment Operator inspects incoming waste and places and manages waste on the site. The role involves moving and spreading waste and earth and operating the site safely and efficiently. The operator uses a front-end loader and other heavy equipment, follows refuse disposal policies and procedures, and maintains written records. The job also includes attending assigned company-sponsored training, keeping up to date with job-relevant technology used by Waste Pro USA, and performing other duties assigned by the Supervisor. Requirements

Valid driver's license for the state in which the position works.
Clean driving record.
Two years of experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
Ability to hear in the normal audio range, with or without correction.
Ability to see in the normal visual range, with or without correction.
Ability to exhibit a normal range of body motion.
Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to climb into and out of a truck repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

24-hour Landfill Operators License.
High school diploma or GED.
