Requirements

Must pass a drug test.
Flexible availability to accommodate overnight projects
Above average math skills and you should know your way around a computer
3 years’ experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, construction stakeout, experienced using robotic total stations, Leica Scanners
Willing to travel, work in all weather conditions
A can-do attitude and desire to work overtime

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or higher
OSHA 10 or 40 Certified
TWIC or SWAC Certified
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Operation of Leica P40 Scan Station preferred

Responsibilities

Perform all phases of surveying field work including Boundary & Topographical Surveys, Construction Layout, As-Built surveys while utilizing Leica or Trimble Total Stations with Data Collectors
Complete field calculations and sketches and downloading and compiling the data
Maintain and take great care of all survey field equipment
Always maintain quality control
Ability to work overnight projects when necessary (10 pm to 6:30 am). Longer stretches of night shifts may be required. Regular hours are 6 am to 2:30 pm.
Get OSHA 10/40 Certification; TWIC and SWAC – this is a requirement for the government agency.
