About The Position
Target Land Surveying has an opening for a Survey Assistant based in the Langley/Surrey area. You will have the chance to work on different types of projects and grow your career through participation in our training and development programs.
Requirements
- ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - Related experience preferred but not essential.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Candidate must pass a Fit for Duty test.
Nice To Haves
- Geomatics diploma or degree an asset
- Valid safety certificates are an asset (First Aid/CPR, CSTS).
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate survey equipment including GPS, total stations, locators, and more.
- Performs legal and construction surveys under the direction of the party chief.
- Communicates effectively with client representatives and colleagues.
- Assists the Survey Party Chief with field notes, measurements, and other documentation as required.
- Operates survey equipment, tools & vehicles in a safe manner and performs duties as identified in the company’s HSE program.
