The Land Records Analyst 1 works under the direct supervision of the Land Records Supervisor. Their primary function is to record property records and perform document searches. This role involves understanding and using Tyler Eagle Recorder, accurately recording documents in compliance with Michigan statutes, and correctly determining appropriate fees and taxes. The analyst will also perform cashier services, reconcile cash drawers daily, conduct searches in Tyler Eagle Recorder and tract books, prepare rejection letters, and provide excellent customer service to both in-office and telephone customers. Additional duties may be assigned.
