The Land Manager (LM) is responsible for finding and acquiring land for residential development and preparing the land for vertical construction. This includes researching, analyzing, and recommending land for purchase through due-diligence and in accordance with the agency's strategic plan. The Land Manager takes land from research and purchase through pad ready status for vertical construction. This can be single lots or multiple lots as well as neighborhood development projects. The LM is responsible for ensuring that land is designed and developed in accordance with all applicable design, construction, and safety codes and regulations, to stringent environmental considerations, and to the technical and appearance requirements of the Affiliate, while remaining within budget. The LM should understand strategies and principles of land development and project management. The typical goal is to provide 10 vertical construction ready lots each year.
