Chevron is hiring Land Intern roles at various operating locations across the U.S, including: Houston, TX Covington, LA Midland, TX Greeley, CO. As a Land Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience working within an asset team in one of Chevron’s dynamic business segments. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world projects with direct business impact. In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of the upstream and downstream oil and gas business through a summer-long Land project, along with smaller assignments to provide exposure to multiple Land teams. You will gain insight into Chevron’s operations, people, and culture including exposure to both traditional oil and gas and New Energies. You will support negotiations with external partners and landowners and assist in drafting agreements related to oil and gas exploration and production activities. You will perform title research and analysis for exploration, development, workover, and plug and abandonment wells. You will provide Land support to multidisciplinary teams to help stakeholders make informed, strategic business decisions on agreements and land ownership matters. You will interact with federal and state agencies on oil and gas regulatory issues. You will work closely with a dedicated mentor and buddy who will provide guidance, support, and professional development throughout the summer. You will present your project and key learnings to senior leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
