Stanley Martin Homes is seeking a Land Entitlement Manager to advance projects through the entitlement stage after Land Investment Committee approval. This role involves pursuing site plan approvals, bonding, and governmental or environmental permitting. The Land Entitlement Manager will spend most of their time in the divisional office coordinating with the internal team, local governments, and consulting/contractor trade partners to design, approve, and permit each neighborhood. They will also attend meetings with other internal departments such as sales, purchasing, production, and architecture to communicate planning and design assumptions. The role requires managing external consultants, compiling, executing, and recording legal deeds of subdivisions, easements, and the creation of neighborhood HOAs. Additionally, the Land Entitlement Manager will evaluate project costs, manage parts of development budgets, attend building industry association and municipal stakeholder meetings to build relationships, and learn about land development and homebuilding processes by interacting with peers onsite and visiting active projects to understand construction best practices.
