Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
5+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects
PE licensure expected or the ability to obtain within 6 months
Proficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, Excel.
Proficient with hydrology and hydraulic modelling software such as HydroCad, PondPack, StormCAD and/or Sanitary & Sewer Analysis
Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management
Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specification, and engineering reports

Experience with client and review agency interactions.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering plans and specifications in a team environment for a multitude of projects.
Complete Due Diligence Reports and preliminary cost estimates for various sites and project types.
Complete work within budget and prior to deadlines.
Lead the development of preliminary layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and codes.
Utilize, instruct, and delegate application usage for generating project-specific drawings, reports, or other technical deliverables
Manage quality control procedures and recommend QC process enhancements
Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies
