Requirements

  • Advanced analytic skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter
  • Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through specific education and training.
  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 year of prior relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License because driving is an essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Support land acquisition growth strategy, providing analysis on potential land purchases.
  • Run pro-formas to analyze potential land acquisition opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of acquisition feasibility packages including financial analysis, product pricing, competitive market research and graphing, fee compilation, and creation of site maps.
  • Work with Strategic Marketing to perform competition research including competitive shops, comparative market analysis price charts and price positioning.
  • Assists in the feasibility process by preparing models to support the Land and Finance teams.
  • Prepares soft cost budget analysis (property taxes, HOA funding, and land overhead absorption) and lot cost calculations.
  • Assists in forecasting cash flows relative to land purchase and development expenditures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
