Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and perform basic troubleshooting of lamination machine
  • Set up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of laminators and ensure that each machine is properly positioned with material
  • Follow daily work orders assigned to each lamination crew
  • Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports all other problems to supervisor
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • After equipment has been properly set up, aligned, and tested according to the Work Instructions (WI), the Machine Operator is responsible for obtaining raw material to begin the lamination process.
  • Foam layers are placed on the conveyor and fed into the laminator.
  • Used pallets and cardboard must be stacked in an orderly manner when emptied of raw material.
