Under the direction of Shift Supervision, the Laminator Operator is responsible for setting up and operating lamination equipment to meet customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring product performance and delivery expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic math and measurement skills (add, subtract, fractions, decimals, percentages).
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and job specifications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud environment with physical demands.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 to 12 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Experience operating a laminator, forklift, hoists, or other material handling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate laminator machines according to job specifications.
  • Prepare and mix adhesives; verify correct materials and settings before production.
  • Conduct test runs and submit samples for lab review as required.
  • Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper function and quality output.
  • Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product meets customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform basic maintenance or minor repairs as needed.
  • Accurately complete all required production and quality documentation.
  • Assist with job scheduling and material preparation as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
