About The Position

Assist lead operator and other operators in performing daily tasks including material set-up for production orders, inspecting material being produced, assisting with changeovers, and informing operators of defective material. Work with lead operator and other operators to coordinate schedules maximizing productivity, uptime, quality, and completion of schedules. Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all manufacturing employees. Follow all department and company safety and housekeeping standards. Assist operation team in minimizing material waste. Assist in preparing and maintaining appropriate production records. Keep accurate records of laminator activities, as required. Maintain positive working relationships and daily contact with other team members. Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks throughout the shift and during any downtime. Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Forklift experience required.
Ability to work at a fast pace and read and carry out instructions with little supervision.
Must possess strong math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
Must be a team player with the ability to maintain a cooperative and respectful attitude.
Above average verbal communications skills.

Nice To Haves

Some experience in laminating, coating, or web-feeding preferred.
Basic computer skills preferred.
