About The Position

Responsible for greeting and seating of guests; taking messages off phone, making callbacks and taking reservations. The role involves accurately maintaining reservations throughout the shift using Open Table, reviewing menus to ensure they are clean and presentable, and completing assigned side work. The position requires the ability to work steadily all day at tasks that require walking and standing for long periods of time and completing daily assigned duties. The working environment includes weekends and holidays, and the workday may consist of three meals a day in the Lakeview Dining Room. A part-time position is available.

Requirements

• Good guest relations’ skills.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• High School Diploma
• None required.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand and speak the English language.
• Congeniality, self-motivated, good people skills, strong ability to adapt and accept changes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat the guest with a smile, using their name whenever possible.
• Answer phones, take messages off phone and take reservations.
• Accurately maintain reservations throughout the shift using Open Table.
• Review Menus and make sure they are clean and presentable.
• Do the assigned side work.
