About The Position

The Lakehouse Server & Bartender position is at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. The Lakehouse is a new lakeside restaurant opening in 2025, offering coastal Florida cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood, wood-grilled dishes, and vibrant salads made with local and sustainable ingredients. The restaurant provides a relaxed, modern American dining experience with waterfront views. The role requires providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage, excellent guest service, and salesmanship to maximize revenue.

Requirements

  • Able to read each table and adapt to the guest, creating a customized experience
  • Thrive working in a fast paced, and large team environment
  • A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
  • High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
  • A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods
  • Ensure each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile
  • Display impressive salesmanship in guiding guests through the menu and maximizing revenue with upsell opportunities
  • Provides resort guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons hotels standards of service.
  • Complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
  • Display impressive salesmanship in guiding guests through the menu and maximizing revenue with upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain high level of cleanliness, organization, and stocking at the bar.
  • Execute same level of food knowledge and sequence of service as restaurant servers.
