Requirements

Ability to pass a background check and MVR check
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must possess, or be able to obtain, a South Carolina Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License
Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to trailer and operate a skiff, UTV, and kayak

Nice To Haves

1+ year of experience in lake and pond management, or an applicable undergraduate degree
Experience in the following disciplines is desirable: fisheries, wildlife management, conservation, ecology, biology, environmental sciences, or forestry

Responsibilities

Report to the field supervisor
Manage the maintenance of lakes, ponds & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs)
Identify and treat invasive weeds & aquatic
Visual inspection of stormwater components, ponds, and lakes
Minor equipment repairs for compliance
Improving the overall aesthetics of the sites, Mowing/string trimming sites
Travel throughout the greater counties & surrounding areas
Handle administrative duties
Perform specialty tasks including, but not limited to, fountain and aeration troubleshooting/installation, large-scale treatments & minor pond repairs
Acquire and maintain current certifications as required
