About The Position

The Lake Doctors, Inc. is seeking qualified full-time Aquatic Field Technicians to treat and maintain lakes, ponds, and other bodies of water for a variety of customers. Technicians will enjoy working independently outdoors, communicating with customers, utilizing good math skills, and taking pride in their work. This role involves controlling aquatic vegetation and algae, water testing, stocking fish, and other pond and lake services. The technician will also maintain communication with customers such as Homeowners Associations, Management Companies, and Property Owners, and present a positive and professional image to help grow the business. Maintaining customer records within the customer service software system is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret herbicide labels, operating procedures, and safety rules.
  • Possess good time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated individual that works well on their own.
  • Strong Team Player.
  • Comfortable speaking with the customers to discuss their lake and pond needs.
  • High school or equivalent (required).
  • A valid, clean driver’s license for the operations of various motor vehicles and equipment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lawn service or pest control (helpful).
  • Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge (helpful).
  • Some college helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Control of aquatic vegetation and algae at established Lake Doctors accounts.
  • Water testing, stocking fish and other pond and lake services.
  • Maintain communication with customers such as Homeowners Associations, Management Companies and Property Owners.
  • Present a positive and professional image in the community to help grow The Lake Doctors, Inc. business.
  • Maintain customer records within customer service software system.
