About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring a Retail Associate to support its mission of Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work. The role helps create a welcoming and organized shopping and donation experience while supporting efficient store operations and community programs. The associate provides service to customers and donors, processes transactions and donations, prepares and merchandises donated goods, and helps maintain store standards and meet daily goals. Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
• Comfort using point-of-sale and basic computer systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated to support a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional, and positive service to customers and donors.
• Operate cash registers and accurately process transactions.
• Handle donations with care.
• Sort, price, and merchandise donated goods according to company standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to sales and production goals.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
