About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a production line in one of several capacities, including hand-add station operations, bagging and stacking product, and packaging/storage activities, as required. General line and plant housekeeping is also an essential part of the role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform duties according to established standards
  • Effective communication with management and team leaders to meet production targets and escalate issues as needed
  • Strong time-management skills to maintain required production levels
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle required for commuting purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Operate the hand-add station, including the use of a digital scale to measure materials and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Bag cement-based products in accordance with production and quality requirements
  • Perform manual stacking of product onto pallets and production lines
  • Safely operate a forklift for material handling and storage (where certified/authorized)
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall plant housekeeping standards
  • Work safely at all times by adhering to company safety policies, including PPE requirements, lock-out procedures, confined-space protocols, and safe lifting practices
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions, accidents, incidents, or near misses to management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
