About The Position
The Warehouse Labourer will be responsible for delivering daily samples to Wawa and providing other pick-up and delivery services as required. Will also assist warehouse team with; shipping, receiving, and inventory counts, and other warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- High-school graduation
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations required
- Must be able to work autonomously while exercising sound judgement
- Must have a valid Ontario G class drivers license
- Must be able to operate forklifts or other equipment as required.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather and conditions
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the daily samples are delivered to Wawa from the mine site in a timely manner.
- Pick up mail daily and packages from local business as required.
- Assist warehouse team with receiving, issuing, and shipping of parts and materials.
- Assists with special projects in the warehouse.
- Conducts cycle counts.
- Operates forklift on a regular basis.
- Follows established policies and procedures related to receiving parts and materials and complies with established methodologies and quality standards.
