About The Position
This position involves performing miscellaneous manual work in an office, on the grounds, or about the building, with related duties as required. Two positions are available, each working 40 hours per week for 12 months of the school year. The initial hours are: North High School: 3:30pm - 12:00am (Monday - Friday) and South High School: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday). Both shifts include a ½ hour unpaid lunch.
Requirements
- Ability to perform Ground Care duties - Mow lawns, weeding, snow shoveling
- Ability to do manual and unskilled maintenance repair work
- Ability to perform unskilled work repairing mechanical equipment and heating systems
- Ability to do minor electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to move furniture, load and unload trucks
- Good physical condition, strength & stamina

- Ability to perform routine cleaning

- Able to run errands to make deliveries and pickups
